Douzelage

On Wednesday, the 16th of August 2023, we had a very special visit - Mrs Annigje Kruytbosch, the President of Douzelage European Town Twinning, came by to talk with the Board of Aldermen about the future of the Douzelage in our town, but also about the next projects and meetings of its twin towns. In this context we also received a certificate as one of the twelve founding towns of the Douzelage, which was brought into being in 1991.
