Neighbours’ Day celebration 2026
Organize your Neighbours’ Day celebration between May 22 and September 13, 2026, and benefit from a beer table set as well as free invitation cards! Neighbours’ Day is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours better, share a drink and a meal, and enjoy a pleasant and friendly time together.
Don't forget to submit an official request in advance if you want to organize your Neighbours’ Day celebration in a public space, such as a playground. The principle "first come, first served" applies here.

Inviting your neighbours promotes the neighbourhood’s or village’s social cohesion, conviviality and solidarity. This is the aim of the European Neighbours’ Day. Make that first step and introduce yourself to your neighbours you don’t know yet.

How to organise Neighbours’ Day?
Pick up your invitation cards from the commune. Download posters and flyers from nopeschfest.lu. Put up posters and distribute the invitations with the date, time, and location to your neighbours. Agree on the type of gathering: a simple aperitif, a salad buffet, a barbecue, etc. Everyone can help by bringing something to eat or drink.
Contest – Neighbours’ Day 2026
As part of Neighbours’ Day 2026, the Commission for Intercultural living togehter invites residents of the commune to participate in a contest by submitting a group photo taken at their Neighbours’ Day celebration for a chance to win great prizes.
