The Commission for intercultural living together is launching a competition as part of the European Neighbour’s Day, which will run from the 26th of May until the 31st of August 2023. Residents of the municipality can participate with an activity that strengthens solidarity and cohesion in the neighbourhood. Whether you invite your neighbours to a glass, a meal together, or another activity - there are no limits to your creativity!

Posters, flyers and stickers of the neighbours' day can be picked up from now on at the municipality.

The municipality cannot provide equipment, but public places can be used, after official request to the board of Aldermen.

Competition from the 15th of May to the 2nd of September 2024

From the 15th of May to the 2nd of September 2024, all residents of the Commune of Niederanven are invited to participate in the competition by the Commission for intercultural living-together, by organizing mutual support and cooperation activities in their neighbourhood.

Invite your neighbours to have a drink or a barbecue together. Try to make connections, invite people from different nationalities and live the internationality in Luxembourg. Be creative!

Important! The Commune is unfortunately unable to provide material (tents, tables, benches, glasses, cutlery,). However, public areas, for example, playgrounds, may be used based on a formal request submitted to the Commune Council, which will be treated based on “first-come first-served”.
