The Commune council of Niederanven has decided to create a ''service de proximité'' in accordance with Article 99 of the communal law. This service aims to serve residents: listening, assistance and intervention help strengthen the feeling of safety and the connection with the population. The municipal agents assigned to this service also support the Luxembourgish Police in certain missions and contribute to the prevention of incivilities and minor offences. They can also record certain offences (related to waste, fishing, dogs and tobacco). These actions aim to reinforce public order and quality of life, in accordance with the commune’s regulations.
