On Friday, 3 July, the former sports centre “Am Sand” was officially renamed “Sportzenter Jos Mouton” during a ceremonial event. This renaming honours Jos Mouton, a remarkable sports figure from the commune of Niederanven. Among other achievements, Jos Mouton served as President of BBC Gréngewald for more than 30 years. Around 120 people, including many former sporting companions, gathered to celebrate this special occasion in the presence of the Mouton family.
