Let's discover our Commune on foot!

Together with Visit Guttland, the Administration de la Natur et des Forêts and the Syndicat d'Initiative of the Commune of Niederanven, all hiking trails in the commune are being redesigned and restructured. The aim is to reduce the number of hiking trails in order to be able to increase the quality and maintain them at a high level.

On this page we present the hiking trails in the Commune of Niederanven one by one - have fun discovering them!

Kannerwee Groussebësch

Want to spend a day in the great outdoors with your children? Why not take a nice hike and follow in the footsteps of the jay? The Kannerwee Groussebësch is the first themed trail for children through the Groussebësch.

The trail crosses the Groussebësch over a distance of 2.5 km. However, around 400 m of this distance is on unstabilised ground which, depending on the weather conditions, is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
The start is in front of the Groussebësch entrance, near the aviation monument, along the N1 between Niederanven and Roodt/Syre.

Vast meadows, fields and forests lead to the nature reserve Aarnescht. This former farmland is known for its microclimate and wide variety of vegetation, including orchids.
A paradise for plants, animals and hikers alike!
